When you open a link we record the time, your IP address, your browser user agent, the referring page, the link you opened, the country derived from your IP address and any advertising click identifiers carried in the link (for example fbclid, gclid, ttclid). We keep a browser identifier and a journey identifier in cookies, as described in our cookie notice.
This data is used only to measure advertising campaigns: to work out which link brought a visitor who opened it and later joined a community, registered on a website or made a first deposit, and to report the visit and these conversions to the advertising platform that showed the ad. Depending on the platform, a report contains the event name, the time of the event and of the click, the click and ad identifiers from the link, the link you opened, the IP address, browser user agent and country recorded when you opened it, and a one-way hashed (SHA-256) copy of our browser identifier. A first deposit report also contains the deposit amount and currency. Reports do not contain your name or your messages.
Visit logs are deleted after 90 days. A click record can credit a campaign for 28 days after you last opened the link. Click records are deleted after 90 days, unless they credited a conversion; those are kept together with the conversion and the reports sent for it. Aggregated daily statistics without personal data are kept for up to 400 days.
Visits and conversions are shared with the advertising platform whose ad you clicked (for example Meta, TikTok, Google or Snapchat) through that platform's server-to-server conversion service. When a link takes you to another website, we add our browser and journey identifiers to its address, as described in our cookie notice. We do not sell data and we do not share it with anyone else.
You can delete our cookies at any time in your browser settings. To ask what we hold about a click identifier or to request deletion, contact us at support@akajob.com.
